Combining Parts A & B:

The goal of the influencer strategy is to increase the students’ proficiency in social English for everyday use in the United States, measured through pre- and post-assessment scores, feedback from students and universities, and number of views on the public forum. To achieve this, the vital behaviors of regularly watching and engaging with the library of videos, practicing new skills in social situations, and being confident in their ability to communicate will be encouraged.  The organizational influencers including university language departments, study abroad program coordinators, and Korean cultural organizations in the United States, will be instrumental in promoting and incentivizing the use of the library.  The six sources of influence, including personal and social motivation and ability, as well as structural motivation and ability, will shape the desired behaviors and create a supportive environment for students to learn and practice social English.  By utilizing all six sources of influence, we can ensure the success of the innovation plan in improving the student’s’ proficiency in social English and reducing the stress of adapting to a new environment.
